An addition for your video listings that isn't there: Jack Bruce is featured playing'Mellow Down Easy' and 'Politician' with Dick Heckstall-Smith on a video called 'Eco Rock: Festival for a Green Future' that was shot in 1989. Unfortunately it is the end of a set by the look of it and a bit loose and not at his best. You might find it in the remainder bins - that's where I found mine! For interest the other people featured on the video are Van Morrison; John Martyn; Rick Wakeman (ugh!!); Davey Spillane and two outfits that I'd never heard of: Love&Money and Blues'n'Trouble. A curio really and not essential.

Hi Jack, Hi Margarit,
You know it's 20 years since you Bill, Clem and David rehearsed here! How time flies!
Had a great summer on the road, having spent a few years involved with a charity, and loving working for Marshall Arts again.
Hope your both well and congratulations on a great site. Visit mine if you want http://www.tour-manager.net its very basic compared to yours.
All the best,
Will, Jan, Mark and Brant.

I am searching for West, Bruce and Laing's 'Whatever Turns You On' and 'Live 'n Kickin'. If anyone can make a copy either on cassette or CD I would be willing to pay a fair price. Please contact me ASAP. Hey Jack, it's getting a little too quiet in Cuicoland, what's up with the new album? Can you give your faithful any estimate on a release date? We are all waiting for some new material and hopefully a tour with YOUR band! I have heard rumors of a possible Cream reunion. I have heard the possible Cream reunion as one reason your latest solo project has been delayed. Can you confirm or deny? In any case, we miss you. God bless you Sir!

Dear Mr. Bruce:
Thank you for Cream's version of Willie Dixon's Spoonful. For 20 years I didn't hear it, though it was always stuck in back of my mind. When I reheard the live version, done in S.F. 32 years ago, I was simply awed by your brilliance! Thanks!!! Dan

Dear Jack, It is absolutely fantastic to hear the news regarding 'HotFlash' and the completion of your next solo record! Can't wait for both. I am planning to take my son (who is 13, and one of your next generation of fans) to see you when the tour arrives stateside. I am forever grateful to you for taking the time to chat with me on your way to the tour bus after a gig in Phiadelphia in February, 1990 and for signing an autograph. You were very gracious to be so accommodating after playing your heart and soul out for over 2 hours that night. I was about 10 feet from the stage and you and the band were in top form that night (Ginger was still recuperating from his appendectomy but gave it his all nonetheless). It was truly an unforgetable, magical night. We drove 40 miles through a snowstorm to see you that night but it was well worth the trip. Thanks for all the great music you've given the world since the 60's and beyond. Your body of work speaks for itself and places you among the most talented and creative musical geniuses of all time. God bless, Bob in New Jersey, USA

Hi Jack and friends,
I'm happy to hear about the new group and the update on the album for which we have all been waiting. I thought I would share an interesting fact with you all. I have been starting to get statistics on my web site dedicated to music. There is a counter which keeps tabs on page views. I have over 30 artists featured on my site. Jack's page is the number one viewed page of all. It is viewed more than twice as often as the page in second place, Bill Laswell. This is pretty cool considering I have some popular and outstanding artists listed such as John Coltrane, Joni Mitchell, Sarah Vaughan, James Brown, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, John Lee Hooker, etc.
Glad things are going well for you, Jack.
Peace and love to all,
Joe

When I was a freshman in college, a close friend introduced me to Harmony Row. Soon afterwards I had a simple message posted on the door to my dormitory room: "No, Jack Bruce is God."
There is no singer in the history of rock who can ever compare to Jack. I used to dream that he would team up with my favorite guitarist, Jeff Beck, my next favorite singer, Stevie Winwood, and maybe Stuart Copeland on drums. But I suppose that such is simply a fond wish. And I doubt, even with that kind of lineup, the musicians could ever produce something that is, in my untutored opinion, quite as magical as Harmony Row.

Hello Jack and fellow fans,
I am wondering whether I could locate a transcribed interview of Jack. My web site presents various musicians. Jack was my third entry after John Coltrane and John Lee Hooker. (Not bad company.Eh, Jack?) When I started the site I tried to say a few words of my own regarding each artist, but as time went by I decided it would be better to let the musician speak for him or her self. I have terrific quotes from Coltrane, Hooker, John McLaughlin and others. I'm having difficulty finding a good quote from Jack.....Wow! As I write this I realized something. I have a personal letter from Jack in response to a fan letter a few years ago. Perhaps his reference to being especially gratified that my young daughter liked his music would be good. If anyone has a memorable quote from Jack please e-mail it to me. I don't operate my site for money. I'm strictly an appreciator of music and a modest amatuer blues harmonica player. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. Peace and Love,
Joe Higgins

Hello again,
Maybe I'm wrong or maybe I'm nuts, but if a film were to be made of Jack's life I think Robin Williams should play Jack. Does anyone else see that?
Pardon me for rambling today, but I am home sick with a feaver and I'm tired of being in bed. I just finished watching a movie about Jimi Hendrix. Too bad we lost Jimi at such a young age. His musical vision was advanced like Jack's and John McLaughlin's. I understand he and Jack were planning on working together before Jimi died. What a bummer!
Has anyone else checked out the web page of Gary Husband? Gary and Jack have worked together. I remember his great drumming from Cities of the Heart. His site made me aware of a recording I hadn't heard with Jack, Anthony Hindson and Friends - It's A Curious Life. It's on my wish list for my upcoming birthday.
Bye all!
Joe

Jack, loved your music since CREAM, BBM was better than Cream too bad u guys did not tour the USA.I am going to LONDON in april to see GARY MOORE perform at the HAMMERSMITH, he also never tours the USA. I just purchased your 50th birthday CD and boy do you and G. Baker and G. Moore sound mucho mucho good, even better than CREAM (sorry) I am partial to G.M. since MR. E.C. has not been inspired since his all acoustic C.D. (UNPLUGGED). I guess he would rather use an automatic drummer box than real friends and drummers i.e. (PILGRIM) Take care, RICHIE (USA)

I'll soon be meeting Jack Bruce in person as our drummer 'Sky' went to school with Jack's daughter, and whom he is now still best of friends with. It will be great meeting him as we play in a cream influenced band and will probably need a glass of water and somewhere to lie down on afterwards. I also had the good fortune to meet Jack's son, Malcom in London, he is an amazing composer and all round musician, we had a jam and I think he sampled some of my bass work (whether or not he used it, I'll never know, but it was nice of him to be interested in another struggerling musician. Thanks for reading this and I will keep you posted as to how our meeting with Jack goes! Rock'n'Roll!!!!!

I agree with Bruce Thomson --- Harmony Row is a brillliant work of music and SHOULD be released on CD. I've got the LP (Cherished collection) and I even tried to copy it to my hard disk to burn it on a CD but alas the LP is old and jumpy.

Groovy site. A question for Jack. I am a mate of Joel Clempson and have played bass with him at the bar he plays at on the weekend. (Cream tracks, all of them) He tells me that you once expressed an interest in coming to the bar and playing. I wonder if this is true and if so can we expect to see you soon when your schedule allows it? I will probably wet myself and I know Murray will. (Murray has huge hair and met you at the Astoria I think.) Anyway, the site is really good, but the music is better. Enough said. Thankyou.

A recent entry from a Mr. Thomson from Jack's hometown (Glasgow) stated that 'Harmony Row' is one of the finest and "unsung" albums ever recorded and he declared it "criminal" that this incredible work has been ignored by the music trade. I couldn't agree more. I was recently fortunate to purchase a brand new copy of 'Songs For a Tailor' on CD and I cannot understand why 'Harmony Row' is not available as well. Perhaps there's a problem with the legal rights to the ownership of the material. I also had the wonderful fortune of procuring the instructional bass video which features Jack explaining some of his playing technique and he gives some very cool insight into some of the history of those legendary Cream songs. Particularly interesting and amusing is his explanation of the meaning of the initials N.S.U. Best of all though are the incredible performances of the trio of Jack, Gary Moore, and Gary Husband. This trio truly rivals Cream's performance of these songs, which I am well aware is a rather bold statement to make but I'm making it anyway! Quite incredible. Jack sings and plays with the same fire and passion as if those songs were being played for the first time, and Gary Moore KICKS ASS! Sorry Eric but your playing has just gotten lazy and uninspired lately in my humble opinion.(A few years back you were quoted as saying that Cream should reform but I'm beginning to think that you're afraid you might not have 'it' anymore). Gary Husband's playing is also quite incredible technically, and he plays like he truly appreciates playing with a legend and puts his own unique percussive signature on the songs. He is one great drummer. Anyway, GET THIS VIDEO, it was well worth every penny of the 30 bucks I paid. It is available online through CD Now. (In my opinion Cream should never reform; their place in rock history cannot be denied and this is 2000, not 1968. Cream was truly special: the 'gods of music' brought three brilliant musicians together to create magic at that time in history. But magic, when it comes to music, just happens- it cannot be forced or somehow 'conjured up'. Jack you've proven yourself since then, and I feel YOUR best work has been done 'post-Cream') I'm sure 'Hotflash' will follow suit- can't wait! Love ya Jack!

i would take this opportunity to say "thank you" for your music which i enjoy about 25 years. the earliest records in my collection including you are graham bond organisation issues. one of my favorites next to your solo albums is "road games" by alan holdsworth. your voice and your playing on bass and keyboards as well is a real gift. what i miss since decades is the issue of things we like and especially out of the storm. i'm really curious on your work with andy summers and dennis chambers whom i estimate especially for his playing with john scofield.

Hello, My name is Corey Milner. I am C.E.O. of Evolution New Media (http://www.evolutionnewmedia.com)
We are publishing a book of "101 Musician's Road/Gig Stories" to create money for the children's hospital here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Being that we are huge fans of yours, we decided to ask if there is a possibility that you would consider contributing an amusing or outrageous story(s) from your time on the road/touring/gigging and possibly a photo or two for inclusion in our publication.
We will release the book comercially through a Candian publisher here in Alberta, and donate 100% of the profits to the children's hospital here in Edmonton.
I'll keep this brief as I know you're busy, and I know you already share our dedication to help sick children in any way we can. Suffice to say that your participation in this project would mean very much to the children's hospital, and to me personally. Projects like this are win-win. The buyers of the book are happy with the excellent product we provide, and the kids get the care they deserve.
If you should choose to participate, please write a short letter giving us consent to use your material for this purpose and return it with your road story(s) and photo(s) either digitally by email at corey@evolutionnewmedia.com or otherwise by mail at:
Corey Milner P.O. Box #7 10024 - 82 ave. Edmonton, AB Canada T6E 1Z3
Story(s) can be in audio format if you'd like, we'll edit them if you wish and typeset them. As a rule of thumb, stories should be around 2-5 pages, please send as many as you'd like. Tentative deadline is Jan. 15th 2001.
Please include any special instructions which you would like us to follow. I can promise that any requests/directions you include will definitely be honored, I will see to that personally. The goal here is to help kids, not to be sensational.
Either way, I would like to thank you personally for the many hours of enjoyment your music has given me, and wish you all the best... Likewise, if there is ever anything we can do for you (A complete list of our services can be found at http://evolutionnewmedia.com) please feel free to ask, we would be more than happy to help...

At some point, I would like to see a biography or autobiography written and published about Mr. Bruce. I went up to Walden Books the other day and found plenty of books about Eric Clapton, but not a one about Jack.
I'm a big fan of Jack's music and play piano as a hobby.
I'd be interested in reading Jacks' impression of what the 1960's were all about, his views on the Music business and of course, any insider stories on what it was really like to be "on the road" so frequently playing in these different bands.
Jacks' an important guy in our times.
Just the other day I went up to my office at the bank and some painters were working on the new offices in my section of the buidling. It was lunchtime and they had their radio on while they were on break. Sure enough, on the radio it played ----- WHITE ROOM. I noticed they turned up the volume a little bit.
I'm just a fat, middle aged, conservative banker now and you know when I heard White Room --- I felt like ripping off my tie, turning it into a headband and joining the painters for a smoke !!
Jack's music brings a lot of people together from all walks of life and I think thats a pretty darn good thing !!
Take Care.

Hello Jack, When Harmony Row was first released, I picked up a copy, and thought it was the best thing I'd ever heard. Over the course of Time and Travel, my copy disappeared. Years went by, and I regretted I didn't have it anymore. Not long ago, I was finally determined to find a copy -- I had to hear it again. I searched and searched to no avail. It had been long out of print, and the only copies available seemed to be CDs for $200 - 300, which I could ill-afford. Still, I continued my search, and finally found someone in the UK who had a copy on Vinyl for a price I could afford. It wasn't in perfect condition, but it was in pretty good shape. After numerous delays, it finally arrived in my mail. Now I had to find someone with a turntable, in the age of lasers. A member of my brother's band went and bought a turntable, and from there burned a CD for me. Last night, I FINALLY got to hear the whole album from beginning to end. I actually had to take a break after each song, to recover my composure...it was like seeing, or realizing, something so beautiful that you are simply overwhelmed and feel your heart and mind cannot bear the intensity of the Joy. For me, John Lennon always WAS the Beatles, and Jack Bruce was always Cream...and so much more too. Perhaps it's a token of societal insanity that a gem like Harmony Row is out of print, while we are drowning in unimaginative and unoriginal "music" that is just ear pollution. Although it is late in coming, I wanted to thank you, along with Pete Brown and Chris Spedding and John Marshall and Barry Ainsworth for this brilliant masterpiece. Was it really 30 years ago? It seems more like 30 seconds.
Best, Monte

I was 12 years old when Wheels of fire came out. I remember like yesterday standing in Alexanders dept. store record section in White Plains, N.Y. over hearing this long haired hippi ranting about this album Wheel of Fire. He was telling this guy how he was at the Filmore at the concert and how incredible it was and how this album was a recoding of it. Curious, I lift the silver and black jacket out of the racks and read the song titles. The album containd White room (a single which I had in my 45 collection) so I purchased it. I must admit while it was far from the top ten buble gum I was used to, by my second listen, I was hooked. Recently I purchased the Wheels of fire CD and was amazed at aftere all these yaers, It sounded so deep, rich and still very interestingly enjoyable. The album that had opened a whole new musical world to me in my pre teens is now the one I most frequently play while I drive over 30 years later. I would like to have you recomend something of Jack's more contemporary projects as a good introduction to post Cream work. I remember in the 80's I herad a cut on the raido by Trower it sounded some how familier so I wrote the name down and bought the album and was pleasently suprised to find Jack Bruce was on it. I have always wondered why Cream split up so abruptly and why after all these years, with Clapton working so many differnt musitions, that there has never been some kind of collaberation between the two of them? Perhaps, you might have time to respond . I enjoyed reviewing your web site. Thank You. Respectfuly submitted John Callahan

I think that Jack Bruce is one beautiful cat. His Bass playing, it's on this other level of thinking. Listening to the 'Cream', man it's like having yor mind transported to another realm. It's a real shame that there are'nt any musicians around any more. I'm a guitarist, and I've been trying to get a band together for ages, but there just is'nt any talent about. If there are any bass players about, I'd be interested to hear from you, bearing in mind I'll expect a bassist to be shit hot and play a majority of 'Creams' back catalouge. Just in case one was wondering, I play a Fender Telecaster, Gibson Les Paul and a Gibson Flying Vee through a Marshall 100 watt all valve TSL head with two 4" by 12" cabs, so I'm deadly serious. I live in the Portsmouth area of England, and my telephone number is 023 92 351810. If one wishes to call ,they might want to do so after 6.00pm as I attend college. Sorry there's no e-mil address, it's on account of me knowing bugger all about computers.

Hello...as everyone else here or elsewhere, I have been a fan of Jack/Mr. Bruce since the days of Cream; looking back to see where he came from and followed him forward through his solo albums, and his other groups such as West, Bruce, and Laing (which I hitchhiked to DEEE-Troit on a dare to see him at Ford Auditorium in 1973+/-), BLt, and etc. I myself have played bass since 1972, and have both enjoyed/can't get enough of the sounds and the style that JB produces from the bass guitar. I, too, have tried to follow the "style" of a more melodic/flowing bass. When you listen to the 'trad' ways that were about in rock prior to Cream, there is just no comparison...and Jack B. was one of the first rock bassists, it seems (thanks to great jazz/blues roots to go with it)that must have made it possible. Think about it...other than a passing nod by Paul McC with All my Loving and its walking bass; what else was there but "1/4/5" and "keep the beat"? Thanks, Jack, for being such a great musician and a great inspiration to myself as well as countless others (here and elsewhere...did I here that somewhere before?). Anyway...it's great to know you are still out there and performing and doing your style. Oh, one more thing...does anyone out there know where one might be able to obtain any of the old Tony Williams Lifetime recordings? I have tried in vain to get some of them, but can't seem to get my hands on them...any clues, anyone? Hopefully someone has some info. they could forward on...I would greatly appreciate it. Well...time to mosey on; hope to here more of what is going on with JB soon, and maybe he might make it over the Michigan way/ay? GO JB!

Just found the website & it rocks. Jack & Cream were without a doubt one of the greatest rock groups of ALL time. Unfortunately, I was born in '71 so i never saw them live but, i have alot of their music. You don't hear bass playing like that anymore. I'd love if they came down my way. Jack, if your reading this, Your will go down in History as the Greatest Bassist there is! Keep it up! Feel free to e-mail.

Bruce Cameron and I were friend`s for many years and wherever he`s gone, we`ll be friends there to. Most of all he shared his experience with my wife Joyce and I. While creating his CD, Bruce Cameron was very happy to have worked with you, he told me so. You may not remember me, but I rode along with Bruce to carry you to the Wilmington Airport for your return home.It is always hard to understand such a great loss, as Bruce was to many. But I`ll never forget his laughter and enjoyment from his experience with you and his CD project.
Still missing him, Red and Joyce Please feel free to e-mail anytime.

Jack, I first saw you on a Tuesday night at Union Catholic High School in Scotch Plains NJ in 1968 in your Cream days, it was amazing. The best playing Clapton has ever done was with you. Wish I had seen you with Larry Coryell At the Fillmore East years ago. Caught you here and there over the years. So glad to hear you are hitting the road again with your own band and with Dennis Chambers, can't wait to see you. Your song writing is brilliant. There have been a few perfect singing voices in "Rock", yours is way up there.

I'm writing from Viņa del Mar, Chile. I speak Spanish, and I play the bass and vocals in my "trio". the name of the band es Mitomanos. I wrote once but I couldn't hold the communication. We have our own site on the net. It's in Spanish, but anyway we like you to visit our "official" home page. We made it. I'm a great fan of J.B. and Cream is the band we follow since we are together as a trio. We hope your answer and send us news about Cream and his special kind of blues. Don't forget to visit us... http://mitomanos.tripod.com thanks a lot........................

Jack yourself and Felix Pappalardi are the two greatest bass players that rock has ever known. I want to thank you so much for all of the fantastic music that you have created thru the years and I look forward to your upcoming album with childlike enthusiasm. There's only one more thing I could wish for and that is to have you and Leslie West do something substantial one more time, I think you guys were extrordinary together and I believe Leslie is much greater with someone of your musical stature to guide his great talents. I look forward to seeing you if you do tour with the upcoming albums release. God bless you and yours and happy holidays.

Jack, Just found this web site. Been a fan since Cream. Saw you at the Garden in 68 on the final tour. My first concert! Bought Songs for a Tailor when it first came out. Listening to Deserted Cities of the Heart as I write. I'm a drummer still gigging on the weekends. Your music still inspire me. Love Andy and obviously Dennis. Hope you come to New York soon. Why do you 3 remain a reunion holdout? Management? INS/IRS problems? Musical evolution? Nothing left to say? Too many low speed rides in the car with BB? What's the b.f.d? God knows, Hendrix would have loved a live gig now, and he could play rings around anyone (but you know that). Have you guys forgotten where you came from and why? Are you waiting for others to emerge so you can seal yourselves in amber? Would doing it make you sad? Will you perish if you try? What's the worst that could happen?

It was December 15, 1972 at the Spectrum in Philadelphia, PA that West, Bruce, and Laing headlined the most incredible concert I have ever seen (and I have seen more than I remember). Twenty-eight years later and Jack is still at it. What a blessing we didn't lose him like we've lost so many other great talents. Jack is a survivor and he's still got it. The performances on the Jack Bruce instructional video with Garys Moore and Husband are KILLER! Waiting with great anticipation for whatever Jack does next. What I wouldn't give to go back in time and see Jack do 'Powerhouse Sod' one more time. F'n incredible! LLJB! RC in Bordentown, NJ

Jack! Why it's taken so long to write this long overdue note is a mystery! Just want you to know I learned to play bass listening to your artistry on your CREAM stuff! Among my arsenal: a very old EB-3!
Recently, had a live band play our bumper music on our motorsport radio show out of Toronto. Got up afterwards and covered Politician, Sittin' on Top o' The World and Sunshine. Handled vocals too. Reaction was favourable. Haven't done that in years! You have provided hacks like myself with alot of inspiration, great music, and an awful lot of fun.
Good luck with Hotflash. My $'s already waiting for the release! BBM was splendid, but I long for a final CREAM reunion with Eric and Ginger! You could charge a thousand bucks a ticket and sell out that sucker!
Get Hotflash to Toronto please! Stay wired and thankyou from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful stuff over the years!

Dear Jack. Great news about HotFlash, can't wait to see the three of you "tread the boards" here in the UK. Met you (and Gary Moore) briefly at Colosseum gig in London's Astoria in Oct '98. Found myself standing next to you as Chris Farlowe & Colosseum performed "Theme for an Imaginary Western", my favourite compostion of yours. This moment was one of the highlights of my life and the following day I went out and finally got myself the bass I always promised myself. I'm working hard at it!. Have a lovely Xmas - Hope to see you in 2001. Regards, Steve Ripsher.

Dear Jack, There still exists quite a bit of live unreleased Cream material. I am writing you to suggest that serious consideration be given to releasing at least three CD's of live material. The first is "CREAM-LIVE AT THE BBC". We have had BBC releases from The Beatles, Hendrix and Led Zepplin. It is time to release the live Cream broadcast recordings. Here's what the CD would feature: 8 Nov, 1966, Wrapping Paper, Sweet Wine, Steppin' Out; 9 Dec, 1966, Cat's Squirrel, Traintime, Lawdy Mama, I'm So Glad; 10 Jan, 1967, Four Until Late, I Feel Free, NSU; 30 May, 1967, Strange Brew, Tales of Brave Ulysses, We're Going Wrong, Take It Back; 24 Oct, 1967, Outside Woman Blues, Born Under a Bad Sign, Sunshine of Your Love; 9 Jan, 1968, Politician, Steppin'Out, SWLABR, Blue Condition. The Second CD would be a two CD set of the live recordings made at the Filmore West and at Winterland, San Francisco, in March of 1968. This CD would be "CREAM- LIVE IN SAN FRANCISCO", a 2 CD set. Here's what would be on it: Filmore West, 7 March, 1968, First Show- NSU, Spoonful, Sunshine of Your Love, Crossroads, Rollin'and Tumblin', Sweet Wine. Second Show- Tales of Brave Ulysses, Toad, I'm So Glad. Winterland, 8 March, 1968, First Show- Cat's Squirrel, Sunshine of Your Love, Spoonful, Traintime, I'm So Glad, Toad. Winterland, 9 March, 1968, First Show- Tales of Brave Ulysses, NSU, Sleepy Time Time, Crossroads, Sweet Wine, Toad. Second Show- Spoonful, Sunshine of Your Love, Sitting on Top of the World, NSU, I'm So Glad, Toad. Second Show- Spoonful, Sunshine of Your Love, Sitting On Top of the World, NSU, I'm So Glad, Toad. Winterland, 10 March, 1968, First Show- Tales of Brave Ulysses, Spoonful, Crossroads, We're Going Wrong, Sweet Wine, Toad. Second Show- Sunshine of Your Love, NSU, Steppin' Out, I'm So Glad, Toad.
The Third CD in this series would be Cream's final Concert on 26 November, 1968. The CD would be "CREAM LIVE AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL". This CD would include: First Show- White Room, Politician, I'm So Glad, Sitting On Top of the World, Crossroads, Toad, Spoonful, Sunshine of Your Love, Steppin' Out. Second Show- White Room, I'm So Glad, Sitting On Top of the World, Crossroads, Toad, Spoonful, Sunshine of Your Love, Steppin' Out. Bonus Tracks- 12 Jan, 1993, Century Plaza Hotel, Los Angeles, California, Rock n'Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony- Sunshine of Your Love, Born Under A Bad Sign, Crossroads. Jack, this live material begs to be released. Each CD would include the requisite photos and historical commentary by yourself, Eric and Ginger. Your legions of fans would love to add these CD's to their Cream CD collections. Could your manager, Mrs. Bruce, put this on her "things to do" list for 2001? Merry Christmas to the Bruce Family, and I hope to hear your thoughts on these CD ideas. Cheers, Rob

Hello Jack I'm a guitarist trying to learn how to play Electric bass guitar.I thought I'd ask some questions to my favorite bassist.Would you be so kind as to answer? I leave the bass out on the couch so I pick it up every chance I get.I've got the rest stroke down .How do I get rid of string noise when playing 8th notes or skipping strings? You are the best

Hey, is the end of my Jack's album buying days? I see there is something called Mesmerized in CD Now which to an lag like me looks a little like it is only available to "download" at quite an expense. I guess if you have high quality gear and a CD writer then it is ok - I have neither (difficult to keep up with the pace of change and the expense!!). Anyway, don't most people prefer a "solid" (hard!!) collectible? Is this the end of a beautiful friendship - someone please tell me it will be released in proper form in due course!! Derek - help!!

Does anyone know ANYTHING about the following songs that CD Now says are by Jack Bruce on a release called Mesmerized available by download: Redline The Prodigal Son Loose Cannon Storms Of Disillusions Unkind Burial (Sanctum Remix) Built In A Day Renhetens Elv (Sanctum Remix) War Against You Work Of Art (Raison D'Etre Remix) Enthralled Take A Look Reapin' Existence Drift Curse The Gods Old West F-Over Certain To Be Wrong Blowhole Panic Attack
I would prefer a regular commercial release which has credits etc., but if a download is the only available format to get new Jack, let the downloading begin! But can anyone shed some light on this? Is this really a new release? I have a feeling there's another musician calling himself JB. If anyone has any info, please share it. Thanks.
