Hello Jack! This website is fantastic. I always wanted to write you "a letter of thanks" (excuse the pun) but didn't know where to write. At last I get the chance. Thank you for all the great music over the years. A highlight was seeing you live at the El Mocambo in Toronto, October 5th 1988. I hope that I get to see you live in concert again. Thank you!!

Your work in particular has been a big influence for me, even to this day. I lost my copy of Songs For a Tailor in 82, and found one on vynil yesterday - brief tears. Thanx for your energy over the years, and for soaring flights that eagles dared. loveya - Gary.

Hello Jack!My name is Mike Onesko.I have been a huge fan for many years now.I was lucky enough to record five albums for the Shrapnel Records Label Group, under the name BLINDSIDE BLUES BAND and also I produced and played on CREAM OF THE CROP a Tribute to Cream.Where I played on produced such players as Leslie West,Tim Bogert,Ansyley Dunbar,Rick Derringer, Glenn Hughes,Pat Travers, well you get the idea I also liked what you did with Gary Moore! You can check out my stuff on www.shrapnelrecords.com or any other music website.I would be interested in collaborating with you on a project of some kind.Look under Mike Onesko or Blindside Blues Band.If you get a chance check out Cream Of The Crop and tell me what you think. We used a core band of me on rythm guitars,Jeff Martin on drums, and Tim Bogert on bass, and then everyone else came in and did the vocals and guitars.I would love to hear your feedback. Thanks,Mike Onesko.

Hello Jack and all at Jack Bruce.com. I noticed many inquiries regarding where to obtain some of Jack's difficult to find material. Check out GEMM.com, I recently picked up WB&L's 'Live 'N Kickin' and 'Whatever Turns You On' on vinyl but they were both reasonably priced and in great condition. You can also find new and used CDs of Jack's solo projects. I also got a brand new CD of 'Songs For a Tailor'. However, used copies of 'Harmony Row' on vinyl were going for $85.00! I agree it's time one of modern music's greatest masterpieces become available on CD. Best wishes to Jack and Good Luck with both of your current projects. You are a living legend!

My Father (John) and Jack were friends when they were both young boys. My dad has told me of fond memories travelling to watch Jack play the cello in Glasgow. It particularly sticks in his mind as Jacks older brother took them there....in his small convertable sports car with the bass sticking out the back of it.

I'm not sure if anyone will read this, but it would be nice to see if they could contact each other...just for a jar. Friends are friends after all.

I'm knocked out to find this site. So much info' about so much music I've not heard in far too long and some I may not have heard at all. Ouch. Thank you Jack, for this site. I'll check back to find out more. I've looked for a Ginger Baker site. Is there such a thing? I owe much to Ginger too. If not for him I may never have touched a drum set. I can say tht I learned some of my best chops from him, and you, brother, have always run down the finest voodoo on a bass, aside from your voice being far too underrated in how viscerally you interpret blues. I always wanted to tell you that. Thanks for being one of the musicians who shaped me in my most impressionable years.

Jack, I have been following your career since your days with Cream and your playing past and present continues to astound me. As a drummer I do get to play with you often, as I have a studio set-up and can play my acoustic drums to your CD's. Just played to "A QUESTION OF TIME" this evening, lots of fun. When are you coming to Florida? I hope Hotflash will find its way to Tampa? Hope to see you soon. Signed a loyal fan.

Jack Just wanted to say that your music is timeless and always manages to send shivers down my spine! It's been a long time since 'Monkjack' which I loved as it underlined your compositional talent and piano playing - I'm just sorry I missed the UK gig. Any more where that came from? Best wishes Ian (a longtime fan!)

Dear Jack, I'm so happy. I finally got my hands on a copy of Harmony Row. I've also gotten completely hooked on Out of the Storm. It sure is great. I've been playing guitar all my life but I've only been playing keyboards for a year. You're one of my main piano gurus. Playing your songs is a real ride in the fast lane. My current band rocks the local dance floors with Poitician and Brave Ulysses (where I sing and play lead guitar) but at home it's Victoria Sage and the Consul at Sunset. I saw you at the Bottom Line in New York in...'77 I think. That was some show, I'll never forget it. The next time you come this way I'll be there along with my large crowd of fanatics who also can't wait. If you're coming with Dennis Chambers, that's extra good. I saw him with John McLaughlin. He's spellbinding, one of the best I've ever seen anywhere. Keep up the good works and thanks again for all the inspiration and excellent tunes.

Ships in the night is one of my favorite songs you ever wrote. I dont wand to talk long about it but I wanna thank you for writing this song that gives the right feel. We left the aula when the guitarsolo started in. Your music on the end was full of emotion. Thanks for listening.

I was priveledged to hear to attend one of Jacks concerts up in a litlle club in Lynn Mass a long while ago. Billy cobham was on drums. Mr. Goldberg was on Guitar. Jack on bass. My Man, I walked away from that experience spiritually changed. It was more than a band. Those guys could play. Work Together. Elevate the Art so high all you could do was dream....And you felt things. Powerful things.

To Jack and His friends... and all the things you do to make this old world turn just a little more gently for everyone....Take Care...
