In August 2010, Jack visited the New York City location of Warwick, a German producer of high quality electric basses.  For many years Jack has played as his main instrument a fretless Warwick Thumb Bass, modified to his specifications (now produced specially by Warwick as the Jack Bruce Signature Model).

At his visit to Warwick's New York City custom shop, Jack immediately fell in love with and subsequently acquired a fretless Star Bass II, made with lightweight maple wood.

The photo series below captures Jack's visit to the shop.  The shop also features custom designed Framus guitars, a brand made famous by Framus founder Fred Wilfer, father of Warwick founder Hans Peter Wilfer.
