I am one of the more dedicated fans from Canada of Jack Bruce and Cream. We must realize how fortunate we are because musical geniuses are one of a kind. There will only be one Jack Bruce in the history of music and we are lucky that this genius happened during our generation. The music of Jack Bruce and Cream will never be replaced. The world became a better place with the music of Jack Bruce and Cream

Jack, Your music owns a part of my brain and heart. As a teen I was at the '68 Cream farewell in Detroit, as an adult it marked a standard that few others approached or surpassed. Thanks for being such a valued part of my life. I'm so glad for it. RSD

Please come back to the USA. We miss you Jack. Your concert in Foxborough MA got cancelled last year in April. Huge disappointment but we heard you were sick. Absolutely the greatest rock, jazz, blues musician vocalist composer of all time. Nobody even comes close. Stay well and keep up the great work.

Hi Jack, Just wanted to thank you for inspiring my just-turned 17-year-old son Jeremy to become a bass player. He has been playing cello since he was six, but you know how oppressive the classical music scene can be for young people. He heard about you and your classical to bass story, watched you on youtube, and has immersed himself in the bass for the past year and has become quite decent. He even saved up and purchased a used Warwick thumb (though not fretless)and watches your instructional video regularly. As a reward for his hard work, I'm taking him to see you at BB King's next month. He's very excited. Thank you again for helping Jeremy to realize music can be and should be fun, and not just a product of the competitive, perfectionist-driven classical music world..a world of really beautiful music but a lot of "ugly" music teachers and judges.

Jack, Let me set this up for you: I'm 12 (1969) years old, my father passed away, and I was kind of lost. Then, I heard "Sunshine of your Love" and I said to myself, "I'm not going to stop playing until I touch a peice of that!" I promised myself at that point that no matter how old I got, I would never stop playing music. And I haven't. Fast forward 41 years, and the last week of May of this year, I'm in Abbey Road, playing "Politician" with you! Forget the fact I couldn't hear a thing in my headphones-it didnt matter. You were so funny-you said you just wanted vocals in your cans, and you'll get the rest "Annually,no acoustically, otherwise I won't be able to yodel!" Needless to say, a high point in my life that will not ever be equalled. I can take that off my "bucket list". I also had the extreme pleasure of meeting your daughter Tascha and saw her perform at Rock and Roll Fantasy camp. Such a charming young women-you must be very proud of her.She was very gracious to my wife and I, and I am grateful and humbled to have met both of you. Whenever I'm feeling down in the dumps, I think of those times, and I cant help but be uplifted. Thanks for giving me the bonus package-the passion to want to play, and the opportunity to meet the great man that was part of that inspiration. God Bless you Jack Bruce, (as I wipe a tear), you have will forever be an inspiration. Many, many years after I am long gone, Jack Bruce will continue live in the hearts and souls of people who will be inspired as I was. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Yours, Bill Brooks

Jack, I've never heard a better rhythm section than you and Ginger Baker. People like to go on and on about Eric Clapton and yes he is a great guitarist, but he couldn't do half what he does for Cream if you hadn't played bass as well as you did. Good luck with all your future projects. Don't give up playing. Jim Ankrom

Although a fan of Jack's since the 60's I've had only one opportunity to hear him live. It was here in New York, on Pier 84 in the early '80 with my wife. Because she's a classically trained singer I was careful not to tell her anything about him, letting her make up her own mind. Halfway through the set she leaned over and asked "who's that playing bass?". "Jack Bruce" I said. "He's really good" she said. A little later she leaned over again and asked "who's that wonderful singer?" and again, beaming this time, I said "Jack Bruce". She was completely blown away and to this day asks me to put Jack on the stereo. He's also a constant companion on our many road trips. We just got Seven Moons Live and love it. Thank you, Jack, for filling our hearts with such good and well executed music lo these many years.

Dear Jack, I'm so looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday at BBKings. I've seen you there before and I'm sure you don't remember, but I was right in front with a big smile on my face! A few years ago you played the Beacon with Ringo - a couple from Australia asked for help to get their tickets - I got in touch with them and we had a lovely dinner together before the show. You found out they were coming to NY and you made arrangements for them for great seats and a backstage pass. They were lovely, and I'm ashamed I can't remember their names! Anyway, Tuesday will be another one of my life's highlights. Thank you Jack - see you soon. Melissa

Enjoyed Mr. Bruce's performance at Wolf Trap Sunday night. I believe I would have enjoyed a full concert by Mr. Bruce. Could you tell me the name of the guitarist in the back up band for the Hippiefest tour? I'd like to hear more of his playing if he's recorded thanks

Caught you at Wolf Trap Sunday night as part of Hippie Fest. Yours was by far the best part of the show. Loved hearing those old Cream tunes played live, especially with your guitar. Wow, what a show.

Jack, Great show at BB King's last night. Your voice was in fine form and your playing exceptional as always and the set list could not be any better. I saw the Cream reunion at MSG and last night's performance is only second to that. I had the pleasure to meet you today and I must say that aside from being a regular guy you a true gentleman and a musical genius. Your Cream compositions are timeless and still sound fresh 40+ years later. I cannot wait to see you again at Westbury, NY in two weeks. I'm So Glad! All the Best. Stay Well!

Great to catch Jack at BB King's Club last nite. Especially cool since it's the only date on his whole Hippiefest tour month that he diverted and did an entire Jack Bruce Show with only one opening act. Jack played a full set, over 1 hour and 45 mins! He looked great, HEALTHY, and even put on a few pounds. JB loves playing NYC, especially right here on 42nd St in Times Square and it showed. Played all Cream stuff, save for "Theme". Alot of long jamming and improvising. I'm So Glad, Politician, Sunshine, W Room, Theme, We're Going Wrong, Tales, I Feel Free, Spoonful, NSU, Sleepy, Deserted...and more. Love ya.

Maestro, why aren't you totally deaf? You liked to play your EB-3 bass loud!!??!!! In your honour, I've acquired a 1965 EB-0 (ah that glorious "mudbucker"!) and even when I play it softly, its tone compresses my cranium. But I'm happy; I play it through a new Marshall combo with a "classic" valve-sound channel, so even if I can't play like you, I can try and sound like you - only not as loud.

We loved your B.B. King's show.It is wonderful how your voice has gotten stronger since your transplant. This made the 4th time i have seen you since that and you improve exponentially.I haven't seen you smile that much at a show since the Poughkeepsie date in April 1970 with Lifetime.BTW ,I was 17 when i saw that show and it was lifechanging. So what if i lost a little bit of my hearing that night,it was worth it!The turnout at BB's was also gratifying.I knew it would be good ,but it was great. You and God were smoking hot.I like Joey, too.Thank you for such a memorable time and continued blessings to you and your family.

Hey dude, i just took up the bass after giving up the guitar. Its not because i was crap, as people keep saying annoyingly, i just hated people looking at me while gigging. I wanted to say dude i'm twenty one and me and my mates bought some old records and have been listening religiously for about six months. It seems that your name comes up on a load of them so cheers for the inspiration dude. If you've got any advice for an aspiring bassist I'd be forever grateful, maybe about what equipment you like at the moment or some other gret players that i should listen to? Thanking you in advance mate, JJ
