Dear Jack, I hope you come with your "Big Blues Band" for a few concerts also to South Germany. Perhaps you could join (headline) Colosseum for one of the concerts in Stuttgart 28.6.) or Ulm (1.7.). They play currently again some songs of You. This would be really fantastic. Sincerely Thomas

Your music has always inspired me and now I have found new inspiration in the way you beat liver cancer. I'll never play bass like you, but hopefully I can beat the big C like you.

Hello Jack, A fan and student of your music, as a gift to myself and tribute to your profound musical gifts to the JB fan base, I have charged myself with learning Victoria Sage, in its entirety. I am wondering where I might receive, either from you or elsewhere, the accurate tablature and chord arrangements with notation for Victoria Sage. I wish you best of health and may your creativity continue to inspire for years to come. One question: Was Pete Brown on acid when he wrote these lyrics to VS? Cordially, Eric J. Jack, You changed music for me when I first heard your bass in 1966. It has always been magic for me. In 1999 I had liver transplant. I am in excellent health 11 years later. Still listening to your sounds. I hope I get to see you play someday. -William--

Happy Birthday, Dr. Bruce! (Is it now triple doctor???) I hope this year continues to bring you honors and opportunities. I am enjoying your BBC interviews and learning more about what drives your musical impulses (like that you see singing as acting - no wonder your voice is so expressive). I have had a new tradition since receiving your new album through the Music Project. Each day I drive my son to and from the conservatory where he is a second year viola performance major (a 26 round trip). There has been a lot of bad weather this year - lots of snow and thunderstorms. When the going gets particularly rough, I say to myself "This is a job for the Cuicoland Express!" If living through jams like the one in White Room (and always wondering if you guys are going to make it back from the musical brink) doesn't give me courage, nothing will. Now I am looking forward to an album from Spectrum Road. Keep healthy and peace to you. Sheri, your fan from the classical side....

Im grateful for this web page. I am a long time fan. Although I have been disconnected to Jack's music over the past decade, Ive never stopped admiring what I consider one of the finest artists Ive ever had the pleasure of listening to. I just got done viewing many clips on youtube and I look forward to rediscoving some of the old and delight in hearing some of the music I am not familiar with. Thank you Jack, for all you have done and will do for the world of music.

I was indulging a guilty pleasure last night by watching ballroom dancing on Dancing With the Stars. Whose music did Kirstie Alley use for her number? White Room! It was sung by a professionally trained singer who wasn't bad, but no one can sing this song - or any other - like Jack. Sheri, Jack's fan from the classical side....

hi jack, i have one of your signature thumb basses #43 of 90. The signature that i've seen on the other basses does not have the peace sign on the bottom of the signature...mine does. :) are you aware of any other of these bases around the USA and why only on the 90 series did you used the peace symbol? if you know of anybody that may be interested in this bass please contact me. Thank you for your time. Scott Maginity

I am just listening to the Cream reunion concert from Royal Albert Hall and want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! It was just great!! I was too young to see you when you came to Ottawa in 1968 and am now so sad that I missed the opportunity. I turned the volume up to 11 and rocked in my living room, introduced the dog to great music. I hope that your concert with Bonamassa goes rip roaring fantastic. Good health, long life and prosperity to you. A humble fan.

While Jack may be lauded for his work in Cream, I will point to all his stunning songs, bass playing and arranging skills after that trio broke up. If Jack was my number one influence during Cream's heyday, he remained it long afterward. Listen to Golden Days from Out of the Storm, and you will find that we have a genius on our hands!
