Hi Jack Bruce. 18 days ago I disabled my page on facebook; hope you get exciting moments onstages here in Brazil. I'd appreciate to meet you in person live in Rio, but your trip doesn't get here, so congratulations, and for the band too.

Hi. I'm playing my rock with the band here in Rio, thanks God things go well, a couple of shows, stuff. I had a very very sad moment yesterday, for I lost my beloved and unforgettable mother, she died of complications due to her age (84), but I'll recover. She taught me the rudiments of life, love, friendship, responsibility, gratitude...I'll miss her so much! But I believe in the continued life in another format and I'll keep my faith. I'll never forget you mom!!! It's so hard to say goodbye!!! But no goodbyes for me; and I hope someone else keeps this faith in God I do. And music helps me to carry on. The sadness, blueness will pass on by.

Dear Jack, once Cream did a concert in a little, provinsional town in Denmark. I was there and it was such a great experience to listen to the music and watch you guys on the scene. The audience went all crazy.

To the high priest of post classical music: the depth of character, the impossible inner micro harmonies in vocals combined with passionate comprehensive all-encompassing bass, you are the benchmark for every stream of composition and performance in modern music, entirely in a class of unique excelllence. I recently had the misfortune to witness a pathetic lampoon of "Sunshine of your Love" by Buddy Guy. His arrogance and chronically abherrent perception of unique creativity placed him firmly in the pack of jokers whose composite skills would not equate to Jack Bruce's little finger on the left hand!

Dear Jack It is forty five years since I first saw you with Cream, when you played a Friday night gig at Woodlands Youth Centre in Basildon - February 1967 to be precise. Many years later I spoke with you after a show in Southend in November 2002. You played a set of Cream covers during an evening of heavy rock, which you described as 'not really my cup of tea'. I was most excited when the chance to see you at the Abbeyfest last Sunday came up. During your set I was able to get some very good photographs of you and the band - photography being my proffesion for many years. Although I do other things to earn my living, including music teaching, I love the chance to photograph such events. If anybody is interested in any of my pictures I would be most happy to show them. I spoke later with an old friend, drummer, Paul Francis, who was at the show too (with Bill Wyman) and says he knows you well. So if intersted I can be contacted by email or by telephone on 01621 869566. My best wishes to you Bob Cross

Pollution Woman is a great tune, Mr. Jack Bruce. I purchased 'Why Dontcha'in the fall of 1972 when I used to go out surfing in the winter ,and for whatever reasons this song served to get me 'pumped up'- Is there anywhere I could verify the lyrics; I think I have them right or close enough anyway after all this time. I hope you are in good health. Best regards and thanks for your music.

Just finished your book and as one who has followed your career from the Cream days to the present; I must say the book was an eye opener. I wish you good health and always look forward to new albums and tours. I believe that "Songs for Tailor", changed my musical perspective immensely.

I've been listening to you since Fresh Cream. When I heard that, I went out and bought a bass.45 years later I'm still playing. You have influenced my life musically and thank you for that. Cream has always been my favorite band.If it was'nt for you I would never would have taken up the bass.I gave up fretted basses long ago. I still have a Gibson Thunderbird but I play mostly my Fretless Warwick Corvette standard and some custom fretless basses.Keep on rockin, and God bless you.

You never cease to be an inspiration Jack . You are a musicians musician and have received you fair share of adoration but I doubt that any of us have a clue as to the depth your greatness . You made the bass a legitimate instrument , you were the only rock bassist from the 60's who did it both with flare and extremely good taste . Life owes you the best , never forget that there are many , many of us you never hear from that have the highest degree of respect for you . God bless , C .
